Buffalo Field Campaign
PO Box 957
West Yellowstone, MT 59758
Description:
The Buffalo Field Campaign (BFC) is the only group working in the field, everyday, to stop the slaughter and harassment of Yellowstone's wild buffalo. Volunteers from around the world defend buffalo on their traditional winter habitat and advocate for their protection. Our daily patrols stand with the buffalo on the ground they choose to be on, and document every move made against them. Volunteers spend all day, from sunrise until sunset, watching and documenting actions taken against the buffalo. We run patrols from cars, skis and snowshoes to protect buffalo outside the park. Tactics range from video documentation to nonviolent civil disobedience. BFC enjoys incredible support and participation from the local community. Residents allow us to post signs on their property designating them as 'Buffalo Safe Zones.' We offer a fence repair service to mitigate damage caused by wildlife. Locals join us on our daily rounds, and many support our patrols with hot drinks and food. All of our work happens because people are willing to take a break from their usual schedules and come help. Over 3000 people from all over the country and around the world have joined us in our log cabin on Hebgen Lake to help stop the buffalo slaughter. We feed and house all our volunteers in our cabin and Gardner satellite camp. Volunteers patrol for buffalo by skis, snowshoes, or cars. Everyone communicates by a network of hand-held radios, and also carries a video camera. Our office runs outreach programs, including slide and video presentations, summer tabling in Yellowstone Park, website and e-mail updates, and national media coverage through press releases and video.

Animal ? That is a faked account for sure ...

Chris S? Chris K? Most probably faked accounts as well. Nobody can know it. Every person can create dozen of account entrys. We know that the user Kelfresh is using more than one account …

What is the real message behind those personal attacks? Obviously to drive our group away from v4c. Bad luck for you! This will not work!

Every kind of personal attack is not in the sense of the v4c website. To a personal attack you can only answer in the way of a personal counter attack. This is not our style. So we prefer to stay silent voters. The chat function is too often misused.

Our answer is in line with the v4c sense: VOTE, VOTE, VOTE !!!

Thanks for keeping my team so motivated *LoL*

Chris S. Says:

I have been a silent voter for months for various different causes, and have never joined in on the chat. Earlier today (Sun July 13th) I tried to register in order to defend Kelfresh's comments on the Operation Smile site that hrh erroneoulsy referred to as a "rant". I am assuming that no one is monitoring new registrations, as I seem to be unable to get my registration approved. I feel the great need to applaud Kelfresh, though, so am posting this at the blog site, since I can't post on the actual OS site. If anyone happens to read this in the next couple of days, please feel free to post it to the OS site directly:

Thank you, Kelfresh, for saying what so many feel about CP's ongoing obnoxious behavior.

hrh, you are chiding Kelfresh and defending CP, yet this is what you had to say about him on the Operation Homefront site less than 3 months ago:

What?? now that he is voting for a cause that you like, his irritating behavior is suddenly acceptable to you, hrh??

And now there's a "German Clicking Team" whom he orders around like a band of robots. Good grief. Pretty creepy if you ask me. He "monitors" other groups every second of his waking life to see how many are voting against causes that he and "The German Clicking Team" are "protecting". Again, how positively creepy. Get a life, CP, and let some other groups who you "have studied" but do not meet with YOUR approval a chance to get into the top 5 or even 10. Stop being such a control freak. I personally am now very turned off to any group you support.

You tried for months to order Marc around with all your whining and complaining, I feel that that's a major reason he doesn't bother responding to anyone, including voters trying to register to chat. Heck, I wouldn't, if I was him!

Again, thanks Kelfresh, you speak for MANY, MANY voters, both present, and unfortunately, former.

I died today.

You got tired of me and took me to the shelter. They were overcrowded and I drew an unlucky number. I am in a black plastic bag in a landfill now.

Some other puppy will get the barely used leash you left. My collar was dirty and too small, but the lady took it off before she sent me to the Rainbow Bridge.

Would I still be at home if I hadn't chewed your shoe? I didn't know what it was, but it was leather, and it was on the floor. I was just playing. You forgot to get puppy toys.

Would I still be at home if I had been housebroken? Rubbing my nose in what I did only made me ashamed that I had to go at all. There are books and obedience teachers that would have taught you how to teach me to go to the door.

Would I still be at home if I hadn't brought fleas into the house? Without anti-flea medicine, I couldn't get them off of me after you left me in the yard for days.

Would I still be at home if I hadn't barked? I was only saying, "I'm scared, I'm lonely, I'm here, I'm here! I want to be your best friend.

Would I still be at home if I had made you happy? Hitting me didn't make me learn how.

Would I still be at home if you had taken the time to care for me and to teach manners to me? You didn't pay attention to me after the first week or so, but I spent all my time waiting for you to love me.

I died today...

Spread this around if you please
