Yes, I think it would be great if more people knew about this problem of dystonia. I had a brain operation about 7yrs ago for hydrocephalus (excess fluid on the brain) and now suffer from it to the point when it's annoying and embarrassing in public, and can make my left arm and hand ache as it affects that limb mainly, but it can affect my whole body occasionally. There's not many people that understand when you have this problem and you look well generally.

I thought I'd throw a few votes your way and help move up quicker in the standings. This looks to be an excellent organization.

Dystonia is the name given to a group of neurologically based movement disorders that can be anywhere from 100% totally disabling to extremely annoying and life interrupting. To the best of my knowledge there is no known cause and consequently no known cure. In the 40 years my husband has been so diagnosed he has tried no less than 20 experimental treatments - all in hope of some relief. To date none have worked for him more than 7 days.
