International Medical Corps is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs. Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, IMC is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide. Volunteer Information
IMC offers many exciting ways to get involved, whether working with our professional staff in the United States or with our field-based experts in offices around the world. Our volunteers work with our emergency response team to deliver life-saving care after a disaster, teach farmers about sustainable agriculture, and even build roads and clinics for poor, rural communities. IMC works on initiatives such as these in the U.S. and over twenty other countries around the world, and our volunteers are critical to our success.

Positions are offered as an Emergency Response Volunteer, Non-medical International Volunteer, and Domestic Volunteer. There is also a Graduate Internship Program.
